5th&Oxford

What better way to show off the new Lingerie from 5th&Oxford, than to pair them with the new skins, Brooke? Brooke is available in 5 different make-ups, each with their own personality. I have included my favourites, each gorgeous in their own way. You may have noticed some of these in some of my posts. Nightfall has great Smokey  eyes and dramatic lips. Rebel/Rebel’s eyes are strong but masterfully shaded with strong lips. Kitty has cat eyes and I love the freckles. Natural and Subtle are more low key, letting the shading and tone speak. Like all skins by Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot, they photograph beautifully and have quality all their own.


The new Lingerie, The Tease comes in brilliant colours and  numerous options. As Lingerie, these pieces work very well, and they are designed in such a way that they can be paired with different outfits, shirts etc. The gloves alone come in 3 lengths so they can be added to different looks. I can see the underbust corset being lovely paired with a shirt and bra or corset also. The basic lingerie set comes with bra, panties and garters and a pair of stockings that are nude and matched to the colour. In one of the pics I used a pair of stockings from another set and they worked too. It’s important to note that all of the Tease items are available in copy/mod and trans versions, so you can also gift them.



I have included a new piercing set by Aydan Darcy of HoD. The three textures come with male and female versions. A note about the picture below…. I TP in clothed, found a quiet spot, shot the pic and hightailed it out of there asap. Some nudest I’d make…



Whenever I blog new items I usually try to find a sim which follows the theme of the clothes I am wearing. This is why I took myself over to Insilico, which if you’ve ever been there is/was a gritty nightime futuristic city. Well, no more. Insilico it seems has been invaded, razed to the ground and under construction. I am interested to see what will rise. pics 1&4 were taken in Insilico. Pics 2&3 were taken in Pteron.

Black Friday…

I decided to not be long winded and just show you some of my 50L Friday finds… In Canada our Thanksgiving is in October and we don’t have anything like Black Friday so I really enjoyed running around to the stores in SL. 5th&Oxford and Eolande, Review

Little Miss is a new offering by the duo, Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot of 5th & Oxford. There are skins, lingerie, slips, shoes, stockings, accessories and even furniture and textures. Prices range from 50L for the headbands up to 600L for a single skin. As always, everything is elegant, beautifully designed and pretty. The skins are skilfully rendered with graceful shading throughout and the lingerie is chic and sexy.

I am continuing my look at the jewellery of Eolande Elvehjem. This Pearl group is colour change in the gems and the loveliest piece is the back drape necklace which would be stunning paired with a backless dress. Prices range from 200L to 1050L with different colours available in the pearls and all having colour change gems.

The free photography studio at MC Bosch has a huge prop room, with every kind of chair, box, wall and frame. There are numerous backgrounds, lighting options and poses available. Even if you are not accustomed to taking pictures, it is a fun way to take advantage of the many options out there for photography. And remember to leave a tip!

Another splendid piece from Eolande’s is the Fairy Glass Necklace (with earrings and ring). The glass is colour change and light appears to be moving within the glass. Prices range from 250L-350L. Demo’s are also available.

Zombies, Sales and Night Elves…

Ok, maybe I should explain…. Some days in Second Life just defy explanation…but I’ll try I’ll really try. Friday was just one of those days…I woke up to find myself walking around the Glamour Expo and I bought a few things…not really glamorous but interesting. Then well, it was 50L Fridays so…I popped about grabbing more stuff and that’s how I ended up with the fireflies. I scouted out a few locations for blogging and found one that just blew me away, so much so that it might take me a while to figure out what to do with it….Then I remembered Zombiefest and put on my best Zombie while gawking at the Zombies, Dancing to the Rob Zombie Experience and other oddities. Found some great clothes too..

Of Course then I took a trip over to Cupcakes to check out the secret sale..and found this georgous Night Elf skin. I had to show it to you at night where it really shines. I have to admit at this point things get a little fuzzy…I don’t recall even getting bit. I started getting ravenously hungry…and I wanted a burger…hell raw meat…brains….? Good thing I’m a paranoid sort and packed anti Zombie Serum into my inventory…

Odd Socks….The Sequel

A couple of my favorite designers are here today.

This slip makes me want to wiggle my butt!!! I picked up this little number a while ago from 5th & Oxford during a 50L Friday. I love the shade of green and the lovely way this slip fits, with some Fri*day and Periquita thrown in for good measure.

It’s raining it’s pouring the old man is snoring… L’Abel meets Kurotsubaki meets a few other interesting characters (Puddles, Pretties and Storin).

It’s my lunch… and I’ll eat it if I want to!! Well I’m sure I’m not the only one happy Violet Voltaire continues to create inworld as well as in the real world. I found so many cool, funny and unusual items at the Jewellery Fair today. I can’t wait to share them with you! Tuli Asturias is well known nowadays for her beautiful skins, but her clothes are just as gorgeous. And I have been stocking up at the pretties sale, shoes are 25L (I know…!!) A thought about great designers…beautiful colours, everything fits, including the prim skirt pieces, and unique styling. They make it look easy, (which it’s not) work their butts off, and don’t take shortcuts.

This is my Anniversary!!! I have been blogging for one year…Yay!!! Thanks to anyone who has read, or looked at the pictures, said “What does that have to do with fashion?”, or offered comments or advice. I have learned and continue to learn from my fellow bloggers, a supportive bunch you are. I stay in SL because of the creativity of our designers, builders, scripters (not strippers) and interesting people who do stuff! I guess I’m here for a while, at least (who can predict the future?) so get ready for more pictures shot from odd angles, horrid lighting, mangling of the English language, bad grammar and the use of these………...

Moon River....

Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot only have themselves to blame. After waiting for weeks with bated breath to see the new skins…. I suffered a relapse to Diva-ness upon glancing at the name of the new Line, Audrey… I have spent the last day or two channeling my inner Audrey but I stopped myself before things turned really creepy. The funny thing is I was in New York last March (after Twenty Years) standing outside of Tiffany’s and I did not go in… Some things are better left imagined..

These two collaborators, who have been part of some of the best loved Skin lines in SL, closed up shop several weeks ago in order to introduce not only skins but a whole new Brand, 5th & Oxford. Roslin has said that they will over the next few months be introducing a whole range of products which will fit with the concept of a lifestyle brand.

Audrey comes in four lines at this point; Fresh Freckles, Fresh, Smolder and Smokey. Like in the past, the make ups are impeccable and if you have owned Fleur or TAP skins before, you will not be disappointed. What has changed about the make ups now are the changes which have occurred in the body. The lips are far more defined, with a variety of lipsticks and shading. On the face the nose is nicely rendered as is the lip area. The body as a whole is beautifully shaded with details, like the belly, back, neck and bum each having it’s own character. The only area missing detail to my view is the ankle but it seems to be a problem area for a lot of skin makers as the ankle can look knobby if done wrong. My overall view of the skin is that the shading and details are sensitively rendered, coupled with the makups which as usual are stunning.

There are three tones for each skin, fair, Med and Tan. Medium being my favorite. Each skin is 600L with 6 skins going for 2400L (with a store card). Demo’s available. Because I was channelling Audrey and because Ivalde was having a photo Contest (which I believe I missed by a whole week), I went looking for something she might have worn. Early 60’s old Hollywood….
